Soapstone Carving Workshop for Youth
Youth ages 7 - 17 get an up-close experience with the garden’s signature element of stone by learning to carve their own soapstone animal figurine. Two sessions available at 10am & 1pm Free! Spots are limited and registration is required. Learn more and register below. REGISTRATION OPENS 5/16.

About the event
Artist instructors from Northwest Stone Sculptors Association will guide youth participants through the process of shaping this beautiful, natural material into a figurine to take home. Soapstone and all necessary tools will be provided. Two sessions are available, beginning at 10am and 1pm. Tickets are available starting 5/16. An adult will need to accompany participants at check-in to sign consent forms.
