Self-Guided Tours
Detailed maps are located in a birdhouse-like structure near the kiosk. There are many trails through the Garden and all are open to the public. The map shows which paths have easier terrain and which are more challenging.

Protect the garden by remaining out of the planted areas and by walking on lawns and gravel surfaces.

Please supervise your children.

Dogs must be on a leash and owners are asked to clean-up after them.

Please remove all valuables from your vehicles to avoid car prowls. If you must leave items in your car, please place them where they cannot easily be seen before you get to the Garden.

Group Tours
Kubota Garden Foundation is pleased to offer free tours upon request to groups of 8-20 people. There is no charge for these tours, however donations are readily accepted.
If you would like to schedule a tour, please submit a Tour Request Form. You will be asked to for the following information:

Phone number.

Email address.

Size of your group (Between 8 and 20, please).

If special accessibility arrangements will be required.

Any information about your group, time constraints or subject areas you would like covered in your tour.

First and second choice for date and time of tour.
Please request tours at least 3 weeks in advance, so we have time to schedule your guide. Our staff will be in touch with additional details, including the meeting place for your tour.
A limited mobility route is available Monday-Saturday. This tour is about 45min to an hour and covers a much shorter distance in the flat area of the Garden.

​Public Tours
Free public tours are offered the 4th Saturday of each month. These tours begin at 10:00 a.m. and generally last about 2 hours, covering about 1.5 miles.
Although these tours are free, reservations are required, as capacity is limited. Please meet your tour guide at the kiosk on the north end of the parking lot.
There is no charge for these tours, however donations are readily accepted.
